This lodge is home to many trails, an observation tower, and a large butterfly farm. You will be able to revitalize your body and mind with La Selva Jungle Lodge’s Yoga Sessions and also enjoy message therapies in its Spa sector.
Accommodation:
La Selva Jungle Lodge’s cabanas are decorated by native bamboo design. These cabanas are comfortable, airy, authentic and equipped with private bathrooms, electricity, ceiling fans, hot showers, and immaculately cleaned daily. Cozy private bungalows of La Selva Jungle Lodge are made entirely of secondary growth rainforest and designed to blend with the surroundings. All of the bungalows have a private bathroom, a hammock and mosquito netting for each bed. There are several public gathering spots and 12 thatched cabanas of varying sleeping configurations including an open-air combined bar and a lounge with a wrap-around view of the lake and the spacious dining room with a rooftop lookout point. Rooms of La Selva Jungle Lodge do not have any air conditioning but have fans which can be used 24 hours a day. When you will stay at the open place of the accommodation you will enjoy listening the sounds of the jungle, while maintaining an genuine jungle experience in maximum comfort.
Yoga:
La Selva Jungle Lodge offers Yoga Retreat which will let you to be connected with nature enjoying a beautiful view where modern distractions become a faraway memory. You will be guided by an expert Yoga instructor who will lead you on a peaceful journey while at the same time rejuvenating your body and soul! It will cost $20 per person for Yoga retreat and minimum 1 person to maximum 8 people can join the retreat. This retreat is for all level yogis, from beginners to expert regardless of your age, stamina or fitness level. The Yoga session will be held in the morning or in the evening and session times can also be scheduled around your preferences. Yoga Session includes Hatha Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Karma Yoga, Dhyana or meditation, Bhakti Yoga etc.
Food:
La Selva Amazon Eco Lodge serves delicious meals prepared by its gourmet chef who uses the local ingredients from La Selva Amazon Eco Lodge’s organic garden. Purified water is used for all food and drinks. Vegetarian meals and accommodate special diets are also can be served upon request.
