BodyHoliday is an all-inclusive wellness resort on Cariblue Beach at the northern tip of Saint Lucia. Every full day includes a one-hour treatment, and classes, sports and meals are part of the stay. It's best for active adults who want a beach holiday that also resets body and mind.

What it's like

BodyHoliday sits on Cariblue Beach in Cap Estate, near Gros Islet at the very top of Saint Lucia. It's a curved, sheltered beach with tropical gardens running up behind it, and the resort's wellness centre sits on higher ground above the rooms, built in a Moorish style. The resort's long-running idea is simple: hand over your body for a week and go home with a clearer head.

What sets it apart from a regular beach resort is how much is folded into the stay. Each full day comes with a one-hour therapeutic treatment, and the class timetable runs from yoga and tai chi to meditation and fitness sessions led by the resort's trainers, known as BodyGuards. A personal trainer and a dietitian are also part of the package. The World Spa Awards named it the Caribbean's and Saint Lucia's best wellness retreat in 2025.

Rooms, suites and villas look over the gardens or the sea, and some sit right at the water's edge. There are also two-bedroom villas if you're traveling with friends or family.

The programs

  • Everyday wellness. The daily treatment, group classes and use of the facilities make up the core of any stay, so you can build your own routine.
  • Wellness retreats. BodyHoliday also offers wellness retreats and packages that can be shaped around what you want to work on.
  • Clinics and specialist care. A Better-Aging Clinic offers diagnostic analysis, Pavitra is a pavilion dedicated to Ayurveda, and a Skin Clinic handles facials. Specialist treatments such as Ayurvedic, holistic and acupuncture sessions cost extra.
  • Feature months. The resort runs themed months with visiting athletes, dancers and yoga teachers. In 2026 that includes a solo travelers' month around September and a yoga month in October.

If you'd rather be on the water, there's a PADI dive centre and an ASA sailing school, plus waterskiing, windsurfing, wakeboarding and kayaking. On land you'll find golf, tennis and archery, and there's an adventure program for beginners.

Food

Meals and drinks are included, though some items carry a supplement. There are several places to eat, from the Wellness Café and the Pavilion Grill to TAO for East-West fusion and a wine-paired tasting menu at Cariblue Windows. The I-TAL Experience takes you through the organic garden and teaches you to cook a lunch inspired by local I-TAL traditions. Dress is casual by day and casual elegant at the evening restaurants.

Who it suits (and who it doesn't)

BodyHoliday suits adults who like a full day: a morning class, a dive or a sail, a treatment in the afternoon, then a good dinner. Solo travelers do well here too, especially during the solo-focused month. It's a sociable resort, not a silent retreat.

It isn't the right choice for families with young children, since guests must be 12 or older outside the summer family program. And if you want deep clinical programs or total quiet, a smaller retreat may fit better.

Getting there

Most international flights land at Hewanorra International Airport in the south of the island, while George Charles Airport near Castries is much closer to the resort. Transfers aren't included in the rate, but the resort can arrange them, and helicopter transfers to George Charles are available.
