Finca Al Limon

Finca Al Limon is an unique, serene and secluded Ecolodge retreat with private access to the beautiful Guadalhorce river. This river is a corredor for migrating birds between Africa and Europe and a flood plain rich with native fauna. This Ecolodge is in the Guadalhore river National Park on the outskirts of Malage. This is a fun environment for residential courses with a difference, with the stunning countryside and close to the village. 

Finca Al Limon focuses on the aware of the importance of environmental awareness. It want to plant trees and work with the local community so that they can promote preservation of the unique river environment. In this Ecolodge solar energy is used which provides all the hot water.

Food:

While staying at the Finca Al Limon you will get the opportunity to taste local, traditional Andalucian food from a wide range of produce grown in the area. Professional chef Alicia will prepare mouth watering and beautifully presented dishes. You can ask for a vegetable patch, free range chickens and orchards of lemon. You will also be able to enjoy some local wines, fruits, cheeses and as well as veg.

Accommodation:

In the heart of Valle del Azahar, Finca Al Limon guest house is located and this house is surrounded with the fragrance of orange and lemon trees. The location is near to the village of Cartama while nestled in the Guadalhorce riverside. The main house can accommodate 23 guest and this house you will find 2 triple bedrooms with a double bed plus a single, 4 double bedrooms with double bed and you can chose whichever you want. There are attached bathroom in each bed room. There is also a large dormitory or open space where up to 10 people can sleep comfortably.

There are a Yurt/ a kind of Mongolian tent with 2 double bed and a very special bathroom, in the grounds and 4 people can be accommodated in that tent. A Circus Caravan with double bed and 2 singles, was given to the lodge by an old local family and in that caravan 4 people can sleep comfortably. There is a shower and toilet installed in an old lemon tree.

Yoga Retreats

Finca Al Limon offers Yoga retreat and if you wish you can enjoy this retreat and guided by the experienced Yoga teacher Natalie who began his yoga journey in the Netherlands. Now he also follows Vinyasa style.
